Résumé

Le lymphome folliculaire (LF) est le sous-type le plus fréquent de lymphome non hodgkinien (LNH) indolent à cellules B. Selon l’histologie, il est sous-catégorisé en grade 1, 2, 3A ou 3B. Un LF de grade 3B est considéré comme une forme agressive de la maladie et est pris en charge de la même manière que le lymphome diffus à cellules (LDGCB). L’intention de cet article est de discuter de la prise en charge du LF à la première rechute. Toutefois, il est crucial de connaître les stratégies de traitement en première intention, dans la planification du traitement en cas d’une rechute.

Roopesh Kansara, MD, FRCPC

Le Dr Roopesh Kansara est hématologue au Département de médecine interne de l’Université du Manitoba. Il est un professeur adjoint et le directeur du Programme de surspécialité en hématologie pour adultes, de l’Université du Manitoba. Il a complété sa formation en médecine et sa surspécialité en hématologie à l’Université du Manitoba, suivie d’une formation complémentaire en troubles lymphoprolifératifs au British Columbia Cancer Agency (Vancouver). Dr Kansara soigne les troubles hématologiques malins et bénins, mais avec un intérêt particulier pour les néoplasmes lymphoprolifératifs, notamment les lymphomes à cellules B du SNC.
